Apparently the chicken day was a great idea. HS, whose eyes have been bothering him and keeping him off the computer at night, had seen a huge slow-down in his weight loss, and mine was creeping along. We're both thrilled to report today HS's 0.9 pound loss and my 1.7 pound loss!
Unfortunately, the "family dinner" concept has gone out the window this past week. The Littles have been doing their own thing this week. We even caved and let them have Happy Meals for dinner one night. I'm still giving them balanced meals and transitioning them to healthier choices, but I don't want to burn them out on chicken and brown rice just yet. I still have a ton of food to clear out of the pantry, but LittleBoy doesn't seem to mind that I've replaced the Kraft Easy Cups with Annie's Homegrown Microwavable Mac & Cheese packets. I'm getting more and more excited about making our own food post-HCG. I've found some really good online resources for canning, and I can't wait to try it.
Wish us luck on chicken day #2! I'm closing in on 20 pounds and can't wait to see my measurements again tomorrow morning.
